This weekend I decide that I need a break from Hong Kong and so I go to Lamma Island. This island is located in the south of Hong Kong Island. After 15 minutes we reached the island and also our “hotel”. Was a small apartment with a sea-view and cost per person and night only 500 HKD.
On Friday night we go to a seafood-restaurant and eat spice crab, steamed fish and some vegetables. It was very delicious and also a little bit expensive. (For Daniela, I forgot my cam, so I have no pictures from the dinner, sorry L) But in front of each seafood-restaurant there show there fresh food, take a look!
On the next day we try to go to the other village on this island (btw: there is no car on this island, you had to walk or use a bike to get there where u want) But before we start our hiking tour, we had lunch --> very simple, fried rice with seafood (very good)
For Vorarlberger rules, it was an easy tour :) We justvisit some beaches and enjoyed the landsacape. (Here some impressions)
On Sunday we had a normal Chinese breakfast (Dim Sum 點心). I love this staff, I had it already in Austria (and they were great), but in china there are a lot of different sorts. Here some pictures form it. (The chicken claws are very good!!)
That was my trip to Lamma Island, below you can find some impressions of the nature on Lamma Island and also some wired island staff. But you should visit this island, it is the perfect place to recharge your batteries, and don’t forget just 15 minutes away from Hong Kong! :-)
